I love my sister’s idea of what to do for her daughter when she turns the big 1-3. Thankfully there are still quite a few years to when that happens and a long time before that will happen for Katie as I’m already thinking I’ll be doing the same thing.
Both my sister and I are not the make-up type of women. The only time I wear make-up and even then it’s more just mascara and some lipstick would be if we were going to a wedding or someplace really nice. I don’t know if we are that way due to my Mom was also that way and I always remember hearing my Dad say we looked beautiful without all that make-up on. Of course maybe that was because he didn’t want to spend the money on it?? ~wink~ The wonderful thing is Paul feels the same way as my Dad and will say I look just as good without it than with it. (Of course I know he would rather me not blow the money on it ~giggle~)
Back to party (I’m sure you know where we are going here) my sister thought it would be great to have someone come out that does make-up to show the girls not only how to correctly apply make-up (so they don’t look like a clown or come out with a big dark eye circle underneath their eyes) and also what they could do to keep their face clean and hopefully the acne away.
Doesn’t that sound like a fun 13th birthday party for girls? I would of loved to of gone to one growing up, I can’t think of one girl that wouldn’t want to. Girls & make-up.. what more fun could there be?
