It had just not been the week for us here!
Monday I was in the kitchen standing in front of our silverware drawer (not touching it mind you) when all of a sudden I could feel it fall. Once again the back of the drawer broke. So now I have our drawer sitting on top of our counter until Paul can once again fix it.
Then Wednesday Paul was busy carving pumpkins when out of the blue the wooden dining room chair he was sitting on just ended up falling apart!! I couldn’t believe it. I hear a loud thud and looked and there was my chair in like 3 different pieces! I looked it over and really don’t know as if we can put it back together… so it looks like we might be going chair shopping soon.
Then I don’t even think it was an hour later, Kevin went into his bedroom to change into something different (I swear that boy changes his clothes 100 times a day) when all of a sudden I heard him yelling so I went to see what was wrong and found out the front of his dresser drawer fell off! It’s not as if we have cheap furniture, but it is all older furniture. Thankfully Paul was able to fix it that night. (just wish he could of fixed my silverware drawer that fast!)
I keep wondering what’s going to break next. All I can picture is what you would see in the movies where someone goes in their bath tub to all of a sudden have a piece of tile fall into the tub, then another, then another. I just hope something like that doesn’t happen to us! Can this week be over already!
